SOUP

Did you know that the very first soup can be traced back to 6000 BC?
The first (recorded) soup ever, was made of hippopotamus. Sadly, I didn't have any hippopotamus meat laying around, so I had to settle with some chicken. I love eating hot soup on a warm summer day.

Simple too. Just chop (into tinytiny pieces) some broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, onions, shallots, coriander and garlic. Put them in a big pan and let them sizzle for a bit with some nice oil. Then pour some stock in (chicken or vegetable) and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Put the chicken in and bring to the boil, and let it boil for a few minutes and voila! easy peasy
